Multiple Pets (Up to 3)

To use up to 3 pets at the same time, you must complete a quest and obtain the skill:

Follow the Lead

Steps

1. You must have 1 active pet
2. Go to Henesys Park
3. Enter the hidden portal at the "PETPARK" sign

---

4. Go left and talk to Trainer Bartos

---

5. Complete a short Jump Quest

At the top, click the basket:

Receive Hidden Note

6. Return to Bartos → accept next quest
7. Buy Pet Snack (2500 NX)

---

8. Complete the quest

You can now use 3 pets simultaneously

Pet Revival

Most pets (except Pink Bean) last 90 days.

After that, revive them using:

Water of Life (2400 NX)

• Double-click it
• Select the pet

Pet Effects

Certain pet combinations (3 pets) grant special effects.

You must:

• Own all 3 pets
• Activate all 3

Effects Examples

Pet Star (Enhanced Loot System)

Pet Stars improve your pet’s ability to loot items (VAC).

Requirements

• Pet must be Level 5

At level 5:

• Collects up to 5 items
• Range: 10,000

First Pet Star (Level 70)

Go to Ellinia → far right → hidden portal

Talk to Mar the Fairy:

Start:
Crafting the Pet Star (Phase 1)

Complete both parts → receive Pet Star

Effects

• Loot up to 10 items
• Range: 20,000

---

Higher Stars

• Level 80 → Star Level 2
• Level 140 → Star Level 3
  (using Maker skill)

Stored in SETUP → automatically active

Tip

Crafting requires materials (ores, minerals).
Always save your materials

Pet Leveling & Food

There are 34 pets available on the server.

To level your pet:

• Feed it regularly
• Interact with it

Recommended NPCs:

Useful Pet Commands

Commands increase closeness (pet EXP)

Common commands:

🧭 Introduction

Marriage in MapleStory is highly recommended for players who plan to run advanced bosses.

It allows couples to participate in a special PQ in Amoria, where you can obtain items such as:

Onyx Apple – a powerful attack buff item commonly used in bossing.

• Same-sex marriage is supported on the server
• Minimum level required: 10
• Wedding guests can be any level

Ring Selection & Preparation

Congratulations on deciding to get married!
The first step is choosing and preparing your ring.

There are 4 types of rings, each gives a different visual effect when both partners stand near each other:

Required Materials

Silver Swan Ring

• 1 Silver Plate (made from 10 Silver Ores)
  

• 1 Diamond (made from 10 Diamond Ores)
  

• 500,000 mesos

---

Golden Heart Ring

• 1 Gold Plate (10 Gold Ores)
  

• 1 Diamond
  

• 1,000,000 mesos

---

Star Gem Ring

• 1 Star Rock
  

• 1 Diamond
  

• 2,000,000 mesos

---

Moonstone Ring

• 1 Moon Rock
  

• 1 Diamond
  

• 3,000,000 mesos

Creating the Engagement Ring

Go to Moony in Amoria:

Select:

"Make an engagement ring for your lover"

You must collect 4 Proofs of Love.

How to Get Proofs of Love

Talk to fairy NPCs called Nana.

There are 6 locations:

• Henesys
• Kerning City
• Perion
• Ellinia
• Orbis
• Ludibrium

Each fairy gives a simple quest (collect nearby monster ETC items).

You can only get 1 Proof per fairy, so visit 4 different fairies.

Tip: Use Victoria Island cities for faster travel.

Finish Ring Creation

Return to Moony with:

• 4 Proofs of Love
• Required materials

You will receive a ring box in your USE inventory
(make sure you have free space)

Proposal

Got the box? Great!

• Make sure both players have at least 1 free ETC slot
• Double-click the box
• Enter your partner’s name

Once accepted:
You are officially engaged!

Each player receives an empty ring box – keep it!

The Wedding

---

Steps

1. Create a party with only the two of you

2. Go to Amoria

3. Go left → enter the shop
   Each player must buy and wear wedding clothes

4. One player buys:
   Wedding Ticket Cathedral (25,000 NX)
   

---

5. Make sure both players have 2 free ETC slots

---

6. Talk to:
   Assistant Nicole – Cathedral Staff

---

7. Each player receives 15 invitations

• Double-click invitation
• Enter player name
• Send invite

---

8. The wedding starts automatically

---

Congratulations!

You are now married!

Introduction - Who is this for?

Mounts allow you to move faster and are especially useful for classes with relatively slow movement speed, mainly Warriors, Buccaneers, and Archers.

As you progress through the game, you can obtain 3 different mounts:

• Hog - 170% speed / 120% jump
• Silver Mane - 190% speed / 120% jump
• Red Draco - 210% speed / 123% jump

To ride a mount, you need:

• The Monster Rider skill
• A Saddle
• A Tamed Mount

All of these are obtained through quests.

In this guide, I will explain how to get the skill and the different mounts available on the server.

Quests

Hog

Available from level 70 after completing your 3rd job advancement.
While riding: 170% speed, 120% jump

Talk to Kenta in Aquarium and start the quest "Monster Riding".

Kenta will ask you to collect:

• 5 Reports
• 5 Pheromones

Reports:

Pheromones:

Click Kenta and choose:

"I would like to try to protect the Watch Hog"

You will be sent to a room with several boxes and a hog.
The hog regularly drops pheromones, while the boxes drop the reports.

There is:

• a 5-minute time limit
• enemies attacking the hog

If the timer runs out or the hog dies, you will be warped out, lose the items you collected, and have to start over.

Recommendation

Start by protecting the hog and collecting 5 pheromones.
Once you have them, quickly move to the boxes, break them, collect the reports, and finish the mission.
Do not worry, the boxes respawn quickly after being destroyed.

Once you have both items, talk to Kenta at the top of the map to leave.

After collecting the reports and pheromones, talk to Kenta again to complete the quest and receive a Saddle.

A new quest should now appear at Kenta called "Pheromone Perfume". Start it.

Go to Leafre and talk to Chief Tatamo.

Complete the quest "Dragon's Perfume Bottle".
Please note that completing this quest costs 20,000,000 mesos.
When you finish, you will receive the Dragon's Perfume.

Return to Kenta and complete the quest to receive Pheromone Perfume.

The next step is to capture the hog you will ride.

Go to Korean Folk Town and reach the map Tiger Ridge.
There is a hidden portal on the map. Enter it to reach Area of Wild Hog, where you will find a running hog.

Hidden portal location:

Go to the hog and use the Pheromone Perfume to capture it.
After that, you should see the hog appear in your inventory.

Double-click the hog and the saddle, then use the Monster Rider skill to ride it.

Silver Mane

Available from level 120 after completing your 4th job advancement.
While riding: 190% speed, 120% jump

Important

To start the Silver Mane quest, your Hog mount that you got at level 70 must be at least level 3.

To level it up, simply use it until it gains tiredness, then feed it a Revitalizer.

You can buy this food in the same shops where you buy food for your pet.

Once your hog reaches level 3, start the Silver Mane quest from Kenta.

You will need to collect the following:

• Skull Shoulder Pad x400
  
  Dropped by Dark Cornian
  

• Wooden Shoulder Pad x400
  
  Dropped by Green Cornian
  

• Rexton Leather x600
  
  Dropped by Rexton
  

• 50,000,000 mesos

After collecting all the items, return to Kenta, complete the quest, and receive your Silver Mane.

Note: To complete the quest, you must unequip your level 70 hog first.

Red Draco

Available at level 200, and only if you already own Silver Mane.
While riding: 210% speed, 123% jump

Go to your 4th job instructor NPC, talk to them, and choose the Dragon Rider quest.
Unequip your Silver Mane and complete the quest.

NX Skins

You can purchase NX skins that are equipped over your mount and change its appearance.
This is cosmetic only, for players who want a unique look.

Cost: 3500-3600 NX depending on the skin.
