Update 11/03/26

Hi Everyone,

Today there was an update that consists of some content along with general bug fixes and updates.
We've decided to move the update posts from the discord over to the forum, this will be the first post!

Content:

New Balrog expedition was added for levels 50-200:

• We put some effort into restoring the original boss fight mechanics, and we added a few twists
• Can be entered once / day
• Defeating Balrog rewards each qualifying player (5%+ damage) with 1,000 Boss Points
• New drop pool for the Balrog bonus
• Buffed the stats of the Balrog Leather/Fur Shoes
• Balrog scrolls now give more stats, have a higher success chance but also destroy the item on failure.

Bug Fixes:

• Mystic Door now can't be used to enter maps inside Temple of Time if the player did not complete the quest that is a requirement to enter that map.
• Fixed a bug with APQ's ladder stage, where an impossible to solve combination could have been incorrectly rolled.
• Fixed a bug with teleport where if you teleported down sometimes you would be warped up a platform.
• Fixed an issue where the ladder/rope climbing speed while mounted was determined by the player’s speed. It is now correctly based on the mount’s speed.

Changes:

• Papulatus' quest resets at 00:00 server-time rather than after 24 hours.
• Removed the requirement to craft a Monster Crystal for Meren's Second Round of Teaching, enabling players to get the crystal through other means.
• The Monster Book is now account shared, rather than separate for each character.
• After this update, the launcher will once again prompt you to update the files whenever new updates are deployed.
• Fixed a rare memory issue that caused false positive bans.
