Skill Balance
We've implemented comprehensive skill balance changes across all classes to ensure fair and engaging gameplay. Our goal is to make every class viable and special while preserving the authentic v83 experience. Below you'll find detailed changes for each class. If (likely) there are future changes, we will update this post.
Beginner Skills
We've buffed nimble feet so slower classes can have some speed increase, and the Blessing of the fairy change is so you aren't forced to make more characters.

Buffed Rage to be more viable for parties early on, it was too weak considering warrior elixir is available. For Hero and Crusader, we like the place the classes are at, we focused on buffing underwhelming skills.

Page / White Knight / Paladin Skills
Page gets a party buff, like what Rage and Hyper Body are for the other warriors, and White Knight gets a significant damage buff. The Charged Blow range buff is especially important to keep Paladins strong farmers. We also belive the original Heaven's Hammer didn't feel right and in single target Paladin needed a small buff.

We believe that Dark knights should be more rewarding given berserk and the lack of a power guard esque buff in the second job, so we made them stronger along with raising the Berserk HP threshold to be more relevant at stronger bosses.

Just a cleaner experience leveling skills. The stronger Energy Bolt is a nice QoL change that makes this skill more than just a "raise this to unlock Magic Claw" skill.

F/P Wizard / Mage / Arch Mage Skills
The second job experience is much nicer with the Fire Arrow change. Elemental Reset was added so they aren't useless against fire-immune mobs, and seal was repurposed into a bossing debuff to grant some needed utility for the mages. We changed the mage ultimates to be stronger but on a cooldown, to promote more active gameplay with revamped older skills (fire demon) along with increasing their bossing potential.

We changed the mage ultimates to be stronger but on a cooldown, to promote more active gameplay with revamped older skills (ice demon) along with increasing their bossing potential.

Slight buff to second job, Elemental Reset was added so they aren't useless against holy-immune mobs, Holy Symbol was buffed to reward bigger parties. We changed the mage ultimates to be stronger but on a cooldown, to promote more active gameplay with revamped older skills (Big Bang) along with increasing their bossing potential, Resurrection now grants invulnerability for 30s after revival as a QoL change.

We buffed Power Knockback as a QoL change, and then later repurposed the class as a multi-target damage dealer with Piercing Arrow. Snipe was also improved to be a higher cooldown stronger ultimate attack, which we think changes the feel of the class for the better.

Assassins recieve Ninja Storm as a second job skill, which is so much more significant here than in the fourth job. Avenger can be used from zero range now which buffs their grinding potential from unbearable to just okay, our focus was on making them better at grinding as we believe they are too far behind the other classes in this regard.

We worked on making the class nicer to play, the animation changes and delay reductions make the class feel more fluid and responsive and the damage buffs make it more viable. The Energy charge stance buff is great and the super transformation provides a big damage output increase at a cooldown that we think is a nice distinctive trait for the class.

These changes are designed to ensure that all classes are viable throughout the leveling journey and in endgame content. We've focused on preserving the unique identity of each class while removing pain points that made certain classes significantly weaker than others.
